Skincare is an area of my beauty routine I used to dislike the most. I love applying my makeup, but we all know that it starts with a clean base and a good skincare routine is so important. As I suffer from dry, eczema-prone skin, it takes me a long time to actually find products I love. Some of the above I've had in my routine for years and years, others are new finds that I wanted to share.

Simple Water Boost Micellar Cleansing Water
I've tried different versions of both Simple and Garnier Micellar waters and this one is by far my favourite. I love it so much I actually bought a pump bottle from Home Bargains so it's easier to use with cotton pads. It's gentle on my eyes to help remove stubborn mascara and is great for that first step in cleansing to get rid of most of my makeup.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
The holy grail of all my skincare. I adore this product so much. It makes my skin feel amazing and I've been repurchasing for years. (Although I do actually prefer the Tropic Skincare Cloths over the Muslin cloths you get in the set). I've not found a better cleanser.

[Gifted] This Works Morning Expert Multi-Acid Pads
These 100% biodegradable pads are brand new and although a little pricey, they're fab. Designed as a daily exfoliator to enhance skin resurfacing and help unclog blocked pores, this is the skincare product I didn't know I needed, until now. It helps my skin look less dull first thing in the morning, and I just love how you open the pot and they're ready to use straight away.

[Gifted] Pixi DetoxifEye Depuffing Eye Patches
As I've just entered into my mid-20s, my puffy eyes and dark circles really need some TLC. These pads from Pixi are absolutely fantastic, they come with a little spatula to gently lift and separate each pad, which you apply under eyes and leave for ten minutes. Infused with cucumber and gold to help soothe and nourish, I've loved popping these on whilst I get ready.

Nivea Original Care Lip Balm
The best lip balm I've ever found for my cracked and dry lips. I have about ten of these in every bag, car and room in the house. They're cheap, they do the job, and I couldn't live without one now.

This Works Evening Detox Cleaning Water
I was sold on this product when a fellow blogger recommended it on Instagram stories. I purchased on a whim via Amazon, but have quickly fallen in love with how it makes my skin feel. I was looking for something other than Micellar Water to use before bed, alongside my Liz Earle cleanser. It's a watery texture but you apply straight onto a cotton pad and it really helps lift makeup and dirt from the day.

[Gifted] Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Eye Cream
After I've used my Pixi Eye Patches I go straight in with this gorgeous eye cream from Korres. Rose is my favourite scent and a little goes a really long way. It's got a neat little pump so you don't use too much and has made a big difference in the appearance of dark circles under my eyes.

Lush Eau Roma Toner Water
A classic in my skincare routine, I've used this on and off for years. Toner is a skincare product I often forget about and some make my skin feel really tight and uncomfortable, but Eau Roma Water is really gentle and made with lavender and rose water, so it smells good too. Perfect for after cleansing.

Olay Regenerist Whip Light As Air
I was very loyal to Clinique Moisture Surge (still love it!) but fancied a change. I'd seen so many reviews and brand ambassadors sharing their love for the Olay Whip, so I bit the bullet and purchased this in Boots. It's absolutely amazing. Feels so good on my skin. Can't be without it and love that it has SPF 30 in too.

[Gifted] Sanctuary Spa 1 Minute Daily Glow Mask
Last but not least, a face mask for the lazy girl in me! I never make time for face masks these days so I really love this one-minute daily glow mask from Sanctuary Spa. Powered by a trio of Vitamin C superfruits, it's perfect to pop on just before I jump in the shower whilst I grab my towel and wait for the hot water to come through. Leaves skin feeling really soft. Love it.

Let me know your favourite skincare right now! Anything here you'd like to try?

  1. I really struggle with dry skin so it's always good to see some new products that may help! I need to start using eye patches more because I have the worst bags under my eyes!
