Garnier Skincare & Haircare Launches 2018 | #GarnierNow

Garnier is a brand I've loved for a long time. I'm very loyal to the Micellar Water, and recently started using their new PureActive Sensitive Gel Wash, so I was very excited to be invited to the #GarnierNow event yesterday, to see what the future has in store for Garnier including their latest beauty innovations set to launch in 2018.

Before we jump into the products, Garnier have two new amazing collaborations. Firstly, they're working with UNICEF to help 300,000 children living in danger to play, learn and receive basic healthcare in designated safe spaces. They showed us kits that are used in Unicef's dedicated child friendly spaces that help children get childhoods back and continue their education during emergencies.

They've also started working with Terracycle, giving customers the opportunity to recycle their old Garnier bottles and packaging (including the sheet mask packets!), playing a fundamental role in reducing plastic waste. You'll soon be able to locate your nearest drop off points, or post using a shipping service to the Terracycle centre.

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS JELLY? This new 3-in-1 Aloe Water Jelly has a 96% natural origin formula containing organic aloe vera and natural origin hyaluronic acid. It felt so amazing on my skin, and the smell was gorgeous too. It can used for a day cream, night cream and as a mask. Garnier sources eco-friendly and organic aloe vera from Mexico, and their farmers are guaranteed a fair wage. The aloe leaves are then processed and concentrated into a 100% preservative free and organic powder, that retains the aloe's essential properties.

NUT YOUR AVERAGE HAIRCARE! Ultimate Blends introduces a new Argan Oil and Almond Cream hair range, inspired by nature and enhanced by years of research and technology. Ensuring these women a fair wage helps them to be independant and empower them both socially and economically. The bottles are made from 30% recycled plastic in eco-responsible manufacturing sites, and are 100% recyclable.

POLLUTION, MEET YOUR MATCHA! Let's move on to face masks now, starting with the new PureActive pore unclogging Detox Mask. Formulated with Matcha Tea Extract, it instantly absorbs excess oil and pollution residue from your skin. Living in urban environments means living with pollution, so the skin needs high performance cleansing and care to ensure it stays clean and fresh. With around 20,000 pores, your face is like a sponge, absorbing particulates in the air. The new mask is enriched with matcha tea extract and kaolin clay, to deeply cleanse your skin in just 10 minutes.

CHARCOAL IS THE NEW BLACK! Pure Charcoal Black Tissue Masks, an innovation in tissue mask technology inspired by Asian Beauty. This new generation of charcoal infused tissue masks offer dual action benefits: skin is hydrated and feels purified. The masks are made of cellulose fibre tissue, and offer the equivalent of 1 week of hydrating active in concentration, in just 15 minutes! I know Benji and I are going to really like using this, tissue masks are so easy to pop on and off, especially in the bath.

Charcoal Tissue Masks: £2.99

DELICATELY DOES IT! We all love Garnier's Micellar Water, but this Micellar Oil Infused version contains cornflower water from organic flowers in France. This new generation formula combines cornflower water with micelles, providing an easy and efficient cleanser that is gentle enough for delicate eyes and skin. I wear contact lens, and often need the kindest products on my eyes, so I know I'm going to enjoy this one! The formula removes dirt, impurities, and all make-up, even waterproof, with no rubbing, tugging or rinsing.

Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water: £5.99*
Launching December 2017

At the end of the event, Garnier very kindly let us pick out some products to try from their 'pick and mix' station, including new haircare, sheet masks, the Matcha Mask and a perfect mini Micellar Water for my holiday next month. I'm so impressed with their commitment to sustainable fair-trade sourcing, cutting carbon footprint, developing lighter, more recyclable packaging, and how they're evolving from a brand that uses natural ingredients, to a natural brand. They are committed to cutting down their impact on the planet, and delivering effective and accessible beauty for all. Hats off to you, Garnier! Very impressed.

Huge thank you to Garnier for having me, I loved learning about the brand and can't wait to try the new products! I think I'm most excited about the Aloe Water Jelly, so bouncy and soft on the skin.

  1. Brogan tetaxo has a blog about launching their skin and hair products. It is mixed with pure active sensitive gel and misalliance water. You must get the Assignment Geek to find new ideas to manage their work. Garnier always showed the best and plays a fundamental role in reducing plastic waste. You can also join them.
