The Ultimate Skiing Packing List

I've skied almost every year, for over ten years, and I absolutely love the sport. It's tradition for myself and my family to go away at Christmas, nothing quite beats waking up to snow on Christmas day! I love that it brings us all together, and it's something we all love to do. It's obviously cold, but even if it's minus temperatures or the sun is shining on the slopes, there's a few bits I'd recommend packing. So, without further ado, here is my Skiing Packing List! (ps. I've also included my video version of this at the end, so be sure to watch and learn more).

Garnier Skincare & Haircare Launches 2018 | #GarnierNow

Garnier is a brand I've loved for a long time. I'm very loyal to the Micellar Water, and recently started using their new PureActive Sensitive Gel Wash, so I was very excited to be invited to the #GarnierNow event yesterday, to see what the future has in store for Garnier including their latest beauty innovations set to launch in 2018.

Lyme Regis Weekend Away | Hedgehog Corner Retreat, Dorset

Having a weekend away is the perfect opportunity to feel like you've travelled and escaped, but you don't have to go far to enjoy some of the beautiful cities or seaside towns the UK has to offer. I'm based down in Bournemouth, so Lyme Regis was just over an hour's drive away along the coast. Benji & I wanted to celebrate his birthday, and when I asked where we wanted to go, he suggested Lyme Regis. His family are from there and he's visited almost every year, but it was a first for me and I couldn't wait to see what it had to offer.

Legally Blonde The Musical | Mayflower Theatre, Southampton

Omigod, oh my god you guys!

I knew I HAD to write about a show when I've played the soundtrack NON-STOP since seeing it for the first time on Tuesday. Legally Blonde is a film I LOVED growing up; so many classic lines to quote, and who can forget the Bend and Snap?! With that in mind, I actually had low expectations for the Musical, I thought it would be too cheesy but oh how I was wrong! I saw the show at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, along with two of my pals Joe & Kalem, and spoiler, we all absolutely loved it.

Legally Blonde The Musical is an all singing, all dancing romantic comedy. It's bright, fun and highly energetic, with a real feel-good factor. Plus, it's surprisingly FUNNY! I was laughing out loud and grinning the whole way through.

College sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods, doesn’t take no for an answer. When her boyfriend dumps her for someone more serious, Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books and heads for Harvard Law School. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style. I personally think it's very girly, but that's why I like it so much. It's very 'me'. I came out the theatre and actually felt GOOD, you know that buzzy "YEAH THAT WAS AWESOME!" feeling?! I've seen a lot of shows and musicals on stage but this really left me in a fabulous mood.

Lucie Jones, the actress playing Elle, had big shoes to fill when you're used to Reese Witherspoon in the film however, she was absolutely amazing. Playing Paulette is EastEnders' Rita Simons, best known for playing Roxy Mitchell for which she has won numerous awards and is one of Britain’s best loved actresses. She did not disappoint! The UCLA’s Delta Nu sorority girls were some of my favourites too, they were so much fun and really add to Elle as a character. I loved their total sass and girl boss attitudes!

The songs are so catchy, you'll want to play the soundtrack the minute you're out the theatre! My favourites are "Omigod", "Serious", "What You Want", "Positive", "Ireland", "Legally Blonde" and "Find My Way". Honestly, have a listen on Spotify!

I actually couldn't fault the show at all. It was so perfect that I think I might even prefer it to the film! If you get the chance, the show is currently on it's UK tour, so definitely check your local theatre and book tickets!
