New In: The Body Shop | Summer 2017

I'm a big fan of The Body Shop. I love how innovative they are, along with being cruelty-free, they're very affordable and I love the quality. I recently received these new products in my PO Box, and thought I'd share the new releases!

Chinese Ginseng & Rice Toner
Launching 15th August for £9.50, The Body Shop have two new toners to add to their range. Both 100% vegan, I love the sound of both. The Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Milky Toner is the first brightening milky toner with ginseng root and rice extra for smoother, right, revitalised skin. Formulated without alcohol and enriched with Community Trade sesame oil, I'm looking forward to seeing how my skin responds to this. However, I'm very keen to pick up the other toner, British Rose Petal-soft gel. The extra-gentle, hydrating toner is infused with real rose petals for touchably soft, soothed and replenished glowing skin. It's enriched with COmmunity Trade organic aloe vera, and sounds like something I'd love.

According to The Body Shop, people all over the world are becoming increasingly concerned about the damaging effects of pollution and toxins. In addition to living and eating well, urbanites are actively swapping their haircare products for those with natural or organic ingredients. Since finding out I have an allergy to some fragrances and suffering with skincare issues and eczema (especially on my scalp) for years, it's really important to me which hair products I pick. The Body Shop has created cruelty-free haircare ranges featuring the finest ingredients and textures, with natural oils, butters, and purees. All the formulas are 100% veggie and some are even 100% vegan.

I'm so impressed to see a scrub for once. I suffer with dandruff and a peeling scalp, especially if I use a shampoo I'm allergic too, and I only ever see masks on the market. I know for a fact that more people want products that condition and care for the health of the hair and scalp, and I'm excited to try the Fuji Green Tea Cleansing Hair Scrub. In the foothills of Mount Fuji in Japan, green tea leaves are collected to create the finest extracts. They have bended their green tea infusion in a nature-powered recipe with mint menthol, salt and Community Trade honey. This refreshingly purifying scrub will make your scalp feel instantly refreshed, and your hair feel revitalised with a healthy-looking skin. The also have a matching Shampoo and Conditioner, which I presume smells just as good as the scrub!

First of all, how gorgeous is the packaging for this?! Tattoo Artist Saira Hunjan exclusively designed a unique label for the new balm and it really stood out to me when I opened the box. The said "I really wanted to celebrate the life force of the Amazon jungle through colour and pattern with my signature style. My design captures wildlife through birds and butterflies and the distinctive Amazonian vegetation, including Babassu kernels, where the Community Trade babassu oil is extracted, comprising one of the nice ingredients."

The new Multi-Purpose Amazonian Saviour Balm is my new desk-essential. It's great for hands and nails, but I've even applied as a lip balm too. A multi-tasking beauty essential with a conscience, made with 100% natural-origin ingredients, the oil-rich texture is a rare find when it comes to caring tattoos, skin marks and more. For centuries, Amazonian communities have relied on potent natural ingredients to care for wounded and tattooed skin. These same natural oils are used to enrich this product. 100% vegetarian, without silicones, colourants, mineral oil, paraffin or fragrance and with only 9 ingredients. Well done, The Body Shop!

I'm so in love with the Spa Of The World Range from The Body Shop, even their candles are to die for! With summer here, The Body Shop have introduced their fourth regime to the range, a new Firming ritual. Infused with a blend of fruit extracts from forests and vines, and blended into refining textures and invigorating fragrances, their uplifting regime is designed to empower skin, body and mind. Including the Ethiopian Green Coffee Firming Body Cream, French Grape Seed Body Scrub and the Thai Makrut Lime Firming Oil, this range really is gorgeous. I was kindly send the oil, infused with zingy makrut lime, for toning and firming that's quickly absorbed and infused with Community trade marula oil to nourish your skin.

This is only a small selection to the incredible new releases The Body Shop have. I'm particularly excited for the new hair tools, including bamboo hairbrushes, coconut oil, Banana Shampoo and Conditioner and Rose Petal-soft gel Toner. If you're interested, you can shop the new products here!
