Burts Bees Lip Crayons | Redwood Forest Review

Burt's Bees is a brand I've loved and trusted for years. I've lost count of how many lip balms I've had of theirs! Being a blogger, I've been receiving their press releases for quite some time but when I saw they were releasing new lip crayons I literally said "Ooohh yes please can I try one!", and was lucky enough to select a colour of my choice. Thanks guys!

I went for Redwood Forest, a gorgeous pinky red matte. They have six shades, all of which I actually really like. On first impressions, I thought it would be similar to the Revlon Lip Butters, but it's nothing like it. It's creamy, matte and incredibly pigmented. You know when you use a lip product for the first time and think "yup, I really really like this", that's how I felt. I knew it was having an instant home in my handbag!

The product contains shea butter to hydrate and optimise the colour, alongside jojoba oil and kendi oil which are rich in omega and perfect for moisturised lips. There's no fragrance and is 100% natural.

I can't rave about this enough to be honest. With summer just around the corner, this is a perfect alternative to a heavy lipstick!

Burts Bees Lip Crayons are available from Debenhams & Fenwick stores nationwide and online at burtsbees.co.uk now.
