Favourite Jo Malone Fragrances

A few months ago, my mum and I visited the new Jo Malone store in John Lewis inside West Quay, Southampton. We had a lovely chat with the girl who booked us in for a complimentary hand and arm massage. A fortnight later, we returned and were completely pampered, all for free! I had a lovely chat with the girl and after some trial and error (and her expertise!) we selected two which worked perfectly for me. She taught me about layering the fragrances to create my very own blend which is apparently quite a popular thing with Jo Malone.

I picked Blackberry & Bay and Wood Sage & Sea Salt. We went with a body cream and then a perfume in the different fragrance on top. She gave me samples of both and I went home feeling so feminine and sexy. No surprise I used the samples up pretty quickly. A month later in duty free at Gatwick, I didn't even hesitate to purchase the exact same ones and I'm so chuffed with both. I can wear them separately but 99% of the time I like having Wood Sage on first and then the Blackberry on top. My 'signature scent' is Chanel Coco Mademoiselle however, these are very different so I normally opt for Jo Malone on more special occasions, rather than everyday wear.

If you haven't already, I'd HIGHLY recommend you visit a store (with at least an hour of free time) to try the different ones they have. I've now got a candle and the matching body cream on my wishlist for my birthday. Oh, and don't even get me started on how beautiful all the packaging is too. Jo Malone is such a beautiful brand and are right up there with my favourites now.

  1. I love Jo Malone & their fragrances are beautiful. I haven't tried the two you've mentioned but I like that they have such a wide range of scents. Oh & their limited edition collections get better & better. Im currently using Amber & Patchouli & I never want it to run out.

  2. Found your blog recently and I’d like to say that I’m in love with it!
    Interesting posts and beautiful photos!
I’ll be happy to see you in my blog!)
