DuWop Flight Stick Review | Mybag

On first impressions, I immediately thought this looked identical to a Benefit product. I tried to investigate into this further thinking the brand might be owned by Benefit but I didn't find anything! I have never heard of DuWop before but I did learn that they don't test on animals (yay!). I was kindly sent this by the lovely people at mybag, which is going to be available very soon!

Branded as a cream product for 'people on the go' and great for travelling, I've grown to really enjoy this. It contains antioxidants which protect and hydrate, and caffeine to naturally stimulate the skin and diminish the appearance of dryness and damage. Great for someone like me with eczema prone skin!

As the colour is universal, this product suits anyone and is multi-fuctional. You can use it on your face, under the eyes, along the collar bone or anywhere you want a pick me up. I started using this as a flush of colour on my cheeks however, as it's nude and not very pigmented, I've discovered that it works great for sweeping all over the face too (especially under the eyes) to give you a more 'awake' and appearance of a freshly washed face!

I really like this product - I can use it as a primer, flush of colour, all over glow and even after using it for two weeks, it's barely gone down. The DuWop stick is soon to be available from - a great site for make-up essentials and gorgeous bags if you haven't seen already! Keep an eye out for a wish list I've got coming up, I've accidentally fallen in love with a little something from Ted Baker...

Weymouth Adventure | Sea Life Centre, Tower & Motorcross

Every so often, Rich & I love spending our days off going on little adventures. Whether that be a long walk in the forest or a trip to a town we've never visited before, we always create the best memories. On Sunday, we decided to drive an hour away to Weymouth to visit the Sea Life Centre. I had never been before and as my mum had been cutting and saving the Kellogg's 2 for 1 vouchers from our cereal boxes, it wasn't even very expensive.

We started by mooching around the Sea Life Centre, enjoying all it had to offer and photographing the animals. We experienced quite a heavy downfall of rain half way through the day but it definitely didn't spoil it for us! It took us about two hours to properly look around, before we jumped on a little train which took us across town to the beach. The 'Weymouth Eye' Tower was built last year for the Olympics and cost £3.5m. It takes you up 173ft and offers beautiful views of Weymouth. Plus, it's included in the Sea Life ticket. We then grabbed a burger and chips and enjoying the Motocross racing that was happening on the beach. It was really exciting and the atmosphere was fantastic. Finally, we walked all the way back and played 18 holes of Pirate Mini Golf where Rich beat me (not by much!). It was a such a fab day, I can't wait to visit Weymouth again and do some shopping and eat in a little cafe!

BBC Radio 1Xtra Live 2013 #bigupbournemouth

I feel like I've been super quiet from my Blog & YouTube recently, and that's probably because I have secret projects left, right, and centre which I'll share with you very soon!

In the meanwhile, I wanted to dedicate a little post to this particular project because I am oh so proud. A few weeks ago, I was contacted by BBC Radio 1Xtra who wanted to acknowledge people they'd identified as 'creative voices' in Bournemouth, by spraying their twitter handle in their piece of street art to promote 1Xtra Live coming to #bigupbournemouth! I was completely honoured, so granted them permission and immediately drove down to see it.

If you're local, you'll find the art on the side of Koh Thai on Old Christchurch Road near Boscombe. I've passed it several times over the last week and I'm still shocked to be part of something pretty cool, not forgetting above Katy B ;)

For those who don't know, 1Xtra Live is a four-day celebration of the best in live RnB and Hip Hop, visiting four arena venues around the country. Back for a 6th year, it's touring Bournemouth, London, Liverpool & Leeds next week. Starting here in Bournemouth on Monday 7th October, the line-up includes Katy B, Chase & Status, Sub Focus, Friction & Friends and Digital Soundboy. You can get tickets here.

I'm literally so excited, Rich & I will be attending and I'll most likely be tweeting away so be sure to follow me - @brogantatexo if you hadn't spotted it on the wall already ;)

What do you think? I'm pretty chuffed and excited for Monday. Who else is going?
