Sometimes, I get tweets or messages on Instagram asking where I've been, or when my next video will be up or simply, that I'm missed from YouTube. I read every single comment but sometimes, I never really know how to reply. Today, I decided to just open my laptop and start typing this to say hello, what I've been up to and a thank you, for forever being patient with me.
So, where have I been eh? Well, I turned 20 a couple of weeks ago. TWENTY. What an odd age. No longer a teenager but now in my twenties. Eurgghhh. My teenage years have been a real roller coaster and although I wouldn't change them for the world, I really am looking forward to leaving that old me behind.
Other than celebrating my birthday, I've been spending a lot of time with friends, even if it's just been chilling in front of the TV and watching Frozen. I've recently realised that although I can't please everyone, I need to make decisions based on what I want to do, as lets face it, we only live once right? With this in mind, I've been up to London twice in the last month and created many more memories. I've had plenty of giggles at the London Dungeons, whilst also having the opportunity to see Blithe Spirit which was brilliant. I never get bored when I visit London, but am usually reminded of how lucky I actually am to live by the sea. I just can't imagine living in a big city without sea and sand nearby!
I've been so busy and focused at work I've barely had a moment to stop. It makes me really sad that I'm going through this 'phrase' of lacking blogging and filming motivation, and I have to keep reassuring myself that it's okay, I'm only human and it really is only a hobby that I can't fulfil all the time. Having said that, I am struggling with the work and blog balance, and work will always come first. This is something I hope will change very soon.
Finally, I'd really love to find a form of exercise to fit back into my life. I've always disliked the gym and classes, get bored of swimming and cycling, and generally lack motivation if I try exercising from home. Therefore, I need to reassess my options and make more of an effort, otherwise I really cannot moan that I need to loose some weight! I'd also like to start making better choices with my food, by ditching snacks such as crisps, chocolate and cakes for fruit, yoghurts and more water.
In summary, if I'm not working, I've been hanging out with friends and visa versa. I'm keen to get back into blogging/filming, whilst also making more decisions based on being the person I want to be. I'm not perfect and I'll never be able to fully explain what is preventing me from uploading anything, but I am so grateful that you continue to support me regardless.
I hope you've all had a wonderful bank holiday and Easter. I worked Friday, Saturday and I'm back working tomorrow too. No rest for the wicked, eh?! Let me know if you enjoying reading this kinda thing? Maybe I'll do more in future.
