You know it's almost Spring when Lush release their Mother's Day & Easter Collection, right?! All these products are now available online and across all stores from tomorrow, Saturday 22nd February. I thought I'd give you a sneak peak and share all the new products, with a brief explanation and how to use them!
Remember Pumkin at Halloween? Well Mumkin is making a comback this year and she's brighter than ever! She's renowned for her cheerful fruit fragrance; a unique scent which smells like punnet of fresh raspberries! I love the little chocolate drop eyes, star hat and a candy stick stalk. A perfect little gift.
How to use? Crumble under running water, for a deep and delicious pink colour with lots of bubbles.
Touch this and prepare for gold luste EVERYWHERE. The glitter is PET (plastic free) and will leave your body lovely and glittery. Inspired by Wonder Woman, the gold is to replicate her golden tiara and is packed with Lush's best selling Gorilla fragrance, The Sun.
How to use? Crumble under the tap for bubbles and a gorgeous mercury effect in the water.
Mum's Flowers | Reusable Bubble Bar | £5.25
Back for another Mother's Day, this year features a range of Lush's best-selling fragrances on a wand as a reusable bubble bar for up to six baths! Madame Butterfly (far left) is scented with Rose Jam, The Mum (middle) smells of Honey I Washed The Kids and Mum Tulip (far right) has the alluring Sex Bomb fragrance!
How to use? Either hold under a running tap for mounds of luxurious bubbles or, swish the wand around as your bath is running to leave a trail of delicious bubble in the water.
Rose | Bubble Bar | £2.95
Inspired by the enchanted rose from Beauty and the Beast, this gorgeous little rose smells similar to Amandopondo. It's made from rose petals from the Damask rose, picked at dawn by local villagers and Roma Gypsies in Seni, Turkey! This contains rosehip oil and cocoa butter which will leave your skin feeling silky smooth too.
How to use? Crumble under water to create pink and white bubbles that will float to the top and is enough for two baths.
This ballistic uses two halves of the Breath Of God fragrance, Inhale & Exhale. The inhale half fizzes quickly, allowing you to breathe in the neroli and rose oils, helping you to relax. You can then lie back, and enjoy the grounding effect of Exhale, which fizzes more slowly to allow the opportunity for a long-lasting, indulgent soak.
How to use? Pop in the bath and you may even discover a little note inside too!
Secret Garden | Bath Bomb | £2.95
This smells absolutely gorgeous, perfect for spring as this lovely floral ballistic will make you feel like you're in your very own secret garden. Once placed in the bath, you're treated to your very own bunch of flowers as there's rose petals, marigold and blue mallow flowers, red cornflowers and yellow rose buds inside!
How to use? The green part of this is partly made using bubble bar mix, which means it fizzes slowly for a long relaxing bath under a green carpet of foam.
This product originally arrived in stores last year however, now it's available in a bunch! Each trio of carrots creates several baths and the buchu, lemon and grapefruit oils create a blackcurranty and refreshing fragrance.
How to use? Take your bunch of carrots, choose one and swish it around your bath (holding onto the green leaves), then pop it on the side of the bath and reuse next time!
Golden Egg | Bath Bomb Melt | £3.50
The outer shell of Golden Egg is soft and coated in a bath melt but has a hard, bath bomb centre! Inspired by chocolate cream eggs, it has a honey-toffee fragrance and a gorgeous glitzy exterior. The outer shell is also made from Fair Trade, certified cocoa butter leaving your skin super soft.
How to use? Pop in the bath, it will sink to the bottom before bobbing back to the top to reveal the bomb within.
When you crack open this giant egg, you'll discover a mini bunny or chick bath bomb hidden in the centre! Fragranced with a beautiful blend of grapefruit, lemon oils and Fair Trade vanilla absolute. You'll be able to get 3 baths out of this however, I like using the whole thing in one!
How to use? Give it a firm knock or twist to reveal the inner bath bomb, then pop in the bath and watch it fizz different colours. Also available in either Pink or Yellow.
Bunny | Bubble Bar | £3.25
Inspired by the White Rabbit in Alice In Wonderland, this is my favourite. It's so cute and hidden in the centre are blue cornflower petals to float around your bath! The shea butter & coconut oil are great for softening the skin, and has the same fragrance as Creamy Candy.
How to use? Crumble under running water to create lots of lovely bubbles, similar to the bubbleroons!
Brightside | Bubble Bar | £4.50
This bar first launched for Easter last year and will now be staying all year round! It contains an uplifting trio of orange fragrances - mandarin, tangerine and bergamot oils. It turns the water an orangey sunset colour and will leave you feeling cheerful and looking on the bright side of life.
How to use? Crumble under running water, plenty for one bath although could be cut in half for two.
Fluffy Egg | Bath Bomb | £2.95
If you're a Snow Fairy fan, you'll like this one, so be sure to pop it into your Easter basket! It has a wonderful sweet candy fragrance, similar to Mmmelting Mashmallow Moment and Creamy Candy. Fluffy Egg has returned year after year and is always super popular.
How to use? Drop into the bath for a fizzing pink, candy scented bath.
Carrot Soap | Hand & Body Soap | £3.95 (100g)
Looks like a carrot, smells like a refreshing tropical fruit juice with buchu, lemon and bergamot essential oils. Carrot soap is made from moisturising carrot seed oil in the orange part, and Fair Trade cocoa butter in the white, with bunnies leaping through every piece! Carrot oil will soften the surface of the skin as it is cleansed by the action of the soap base.
There we have it! 15 new products for Mother's Day & Easter. I'm personally most looking forward to Rose, Secret Garden and Bunny however, there's lots of new bubble bars in there that I need to try too. Have you noticed it's mainly all bath products? I think more of a variety would have been nice for those who don't use baths however, I am still super excited. There's lots of gift sets worth having a little look at too. Let me know if you pick up any this weekend!
