She Said Beauty: Social Network Website Launch

I'm so excited to share snaps of my recent trip to London to visit She Said Beauty for their 'Social Network for Beauty' website launch, but also the developments and exciting things they plan to do. For those of you who aren't aware, I've been a subscriber to the box since July and I'm really happy. You can read this month's review here. However, on twitter last week, I won an invite to their website launch and jumped at the chance to come along and meet the team!










The event was held in the Print Room at The Soho Hotel and was absolutely beautiful (how pretty is the wallpaper?!) I bought my friend Megan with me who also has a blog you can check out here. We were immediately welcomed and given cocktails! The CEO gave us a brief chat about the website and developments they have for the future. We then had our make up done by a MUA, lashes put on and our photo taken for the Street Beauty page. I was filmed and interviewed by editor Lauren and met some lovely bloggers and companies. Before leaving, Megan and I were given huge goodie bags filled with over 20 products from brands like OPI, Molton Brown, Starletto, Layla D Naturals, Bare Escentuals, Ginvera and AX Paris to name a few. 


What is 'The Social Network For Beauty?'
She Said Beauty is a website completely free to join and available to absolutely anyone. Members have a personal beauty profile allowing them to be a part of community to review products, watch videos and photos, read articles, join in conversations and discover the latest news. 

What are the key features?
You can connect all your social media links like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Pinterest to your profile. It's the only place online that you can access all my personal links directly, including The Beauty Closet, my online shop. Alongside this, you can connect your content including your YouTube videos and have an archive to your latest blog posts. This will not only increase your traffic, but gain you new readers and help brands see your review of their products. Finally, you can see what your friends, experts and bloggers are creating and discovering. 

What's new?
In September, we'll see the launch of of a newfeed homepage (like facebook). It's clever because you can select to view just the people you're following or everyone. You can also just look at reviews, photos, videos or articles to simplify what's on your newsfeed.

Also, their Mobile app is currently being developed and due for launch later this year. Members will also get amazing access to sales and discounts, free products, exclusive competitions and invitations to VIP events. We also had a discussion about having links to where you can buy the products too! How exciting!

I can't rave enough about She Said Beauty, they strive as a company and listen to feedback from their customers, bloggers and brands. The people on board the team are friendly and the customer service is excellent. As well as creating brilliant boxes each month, the development of their website speaks for itself for how rapidly they are growing.
