She Said Beauty Box | July 2012

If you watch my videos, you'll know I recently made the switch from GlossyBox to She Said Beauty. If you would like to know my honest opinion (I'm quite amusing when I'm angry!) on GlossyBox, you can watch the video here

I was so unhappy with GlossyBox (goat hair brush? No) it very nearly put me off Beauty Boxes completely. However, I liked the concept and I didn't want to give up. I did a bit of research and decided to give She Said Beauty a go. I wasn't expecting much but I am absolutely thrilled to bits with it. I got a dispatch email on Monday and it arrived the next day! I love how the box arrives at the beginning of the month too, makes a different instead of waiting until around the 20th for GlossyBox.

Well well,  I have to say I was most impressed! Beautifully wrapped as per usual, in a magnetic box with pink tissue and straw.

What did you receive?

Miners Cosmetics Bronzer and Blusher Blend Full Size - I have to say, I was really happy with this. I love trying out new blushers and bronzers, especially as this claims to 'create a natural looking tan and leave your skin with a gorgeous sunblushed glow'. RRP is £4.99 which to me, already covers half the price of my box, but I wouldn't say it is a 'luxury item'. That aside, I will do a further review and swatches later.

The Vintage Cosmetics Company Eyelash Curlers Full Size - Yipeeee! Every girl loves eyelash curlers right? I use them every single day and my Boots own ones were looking and feeling a bit old. These are practical, handy and hopefully they work just as well. Packaging is gorgeous and again, a full size product worth £7 so already with two products, I have my moneys worth.

Murad Time Release Blemish Cleanser Sample 30ml Size - Worth £5.50, I'm really interested to try this. If I like it, She Said Beauty have given us a cheeky discount code too! It claims to 'reduce blemishes while diminishing fine lines and wrinkles', not something I'm worried about but I will definitely give it a go. Plus, it smells lovely!

Stylefile S-file Full Size - YAY! Probably the most exciting product in the box. I've seen these advertised and I'm sure they sell them in Sainsbury's and Boots but at £4.49, this nail file is shaped to follow the nails natural shape making it easy to file your nails! Ingenious. Hats off to Inventor Tom Pellereau who won The Apprentice for this one! Again, full size product number four.

Freeze 24-7 Ice Crystals Anti-Aging Prep & Polish Sample 1.2ml - Not the most exciting product but after four full sizes products, I can't complain about this. Not sure I needed another 'Anti-Aging' product but it claims to 'refinish skin for a vibrant and fresh new glow', my skin could really do with that right now. The full size is £35 for 70g so I'm intrigued for this one too.

Bonus Debenhams Beauty Club Reward Club Free - I did know briefly about this scheme but the clever people at Debenhams have encouraged me to want to use my new card to collect points for buying beauty products! These are free and easy to get hold off in store but it was definitely a lovely touch.

What is your final opinion of the box?
Extremely happy! I wasn't expecting to get three full size products which definitely makes the box worth the money. Overall, it adds up to over £20!

Will you be staying with She Said Beauty Box?
Absolutely, I am already looking forward to receiving my next box.
