Sunday Summary #3

I'm not very good at keeping up with these but so far I've been doing them every other week so I guess I'll update you in my life so far!

1. Natural Curly Hair 2. Neutrogema Wave Duo 3. Car Keys 4. MUA Lipbalm Love Heart Collection

The past two weeks have been pretty crazy. I'm sure if you watch my videos, you'll know I went through a really tough split with my boyfriend of two years. What you don't know though, is that he ended up a few days later ringing me regretting what he did. I've spent the past week figuring out what the hell to do, but decided to follow my gut (not my heart), and spend some time apart from him. He's an amazing person and we've agreed to stay friends but I've told him he needs to find himself, figure out what he wants. He knows he'll always have a place in my heart but for the moment, its time to start a new chapter in my book.

I'm sure a few of you want to know how I've been getting on with my weight loss. I didn't make it to Slimming World on wednesday because I started my new job which ended up running into the start of group. But I weight myself and I think I've lost 2 pounds! I'm not doing very well though, I'm having a chinese tonight and went out for Indian on thursday, damn!

This week has been pretty relaxing, it was half term and I had NO plans. I took each day as it came, and bonded with my old friend Elysia. She's actually really ill at the moment so I'm dedicating time to spend with her. She's hilarious and so full of life despite the troubles she faces.

My younger brother Fraser has been skiing in Italy with his school all week! I complain so much that he's annoying but I actually really missed him and was really glad to pick him up and give him a cuddle today.

Other things going on in my life - I quit WHSmith and started my new job in a baby clothes boutique, love it so far! I updated the side of this blog so you can now follow me on Bloglovin', Hello Cotton, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Fantasy Shopper! Speaking of Fantasy Shopper, I went through a stage where I neglected it, but I've really been inspired recently. This is my favourite outfit this week.

My Top 5 iPhone Apps!

Back again! I'll quickly say thank you, I hit over 200 blog followers on here which I'm really pleased about! I generally didn't think this little corner of the internet I have would ever be anything special.

I've popped a video up on my channel of a tag, What's On My iPhone? But for those of you who prefer a little read, I thought I would summarise my top 5 favourite apps at the moment. They change (a lot), and I'm always on the hunt to discover newer, better ones. For the meanwhile, here they are with my favourite first.

Instragram - If you haven't already discovered this app, you have not lived! Its easy to use, works well for everyone and makes blogging about my life simple with pictures. You can edit your photos with loads of filters and can enjoy others posts by liking them. I've even noticed loads of companies using them to promote or advertise themselves. Welcome to the next big thing, brilliant really. You can follow me by searching 'brogantatexo'.

Temple Run - Voted number one app across hundreds of countries, this is probably the most addictive, fun game I have ever played. My top score is close to 3 million, and I love playing it when I'm in a bad mood because I take it really seriously! The best thing is, it doesn't get boring even though its repetitive and you start from the beginning if you die.

Shazam - Everyone should at least try this app, I use it all the time and am so grateful for it! Don't know the name of a song? Just 'Shazam it' as we call it in my family! We all use it and think its super clever. It listens to 10 seconds of the song, and then BAM! name, artists and relative links all done for you.

NatWest - Pretty self-explantory really, and kinda boring I guess, but I use this all the time, every single day. Whatever bank your with, check out their app because you'll find it super useful. The NatWest one lets you log in really easy, transfer money and check balance on the go. Takes a while to set up for security reasons, but I love it.

Twitter - The last one was a toss between Facebook and Twitter, for obvious reasons really as I'm use every single one of you uses both. I love how easy the twitter one is though, I use it every day!

__________

So there we have it, my top five apps I'm loving at the moment. I hope you liked this post and if you want to watch my full video including all the others I have, then check out my video below. Please let me know your favourites, I have £12 iTunes credit from winning a voucher and love exploring new ones.

Happy Valentines Day! ♥

If your in a happy, loving relationship, I really hope you were spoilt rotten! Unfortunately, I'm one of many single ladies feeling jealous of others with gifts and flowers! My theory is though, guys don't really approach you on and near Valentines, they like to stay well clear until its all over!

Seeing as this is the day of 'love', I decided to tell you five things I've learnt about love this week.

1. Never ever let your life revolve around someone else's, make your own plans now and then!
2. Don't be in denial that he might 'change', he won't.
3. Never settle for less than you deserve
4. Enjoy 'you' time, everything happens for a reason
5. Love is unpredictable.

I still kept within the Valentines spirit and made some chocolate love hearts. I want my brother to have some, but he's away in Italy skiing with his school!

Finally, while I was secretly scrolling through facebook to see which guy had made the most effort with their girlfriends, I came across this post that had been shared many times.

"So today I was in Hallmark buying my mom a Happy Birthday card when I noticed this old man stnding in front of the Valentines card section contemplating which one to get. I decide to go over and I ask him “Are you getting a Valentine’s Day for your wife?” in which he replies 'No my wife died 3 years ago from breast cancer but I still buy her roses and a card and bring them to her grave to prove to her that she was the only one that will ever have my heart."

Cute.

Happy Valentines everyone, I'm in my pjs looking forward to 90210 tonight but I hope that next year, I can celebrate it with someone!

Sunday Summary #2

Hello lovely readers! It's 8.30am and I've woken up to hear birds tweeting away and bright blue sky (perfect filming weather). Luckily, I haven't been hit with the snow as I live right by the sea and its fairly warmer. I really don't want either, because driving, getting to college and generally day-to-day errands would be very difficult! Snow in the UK just isn't the same when I go skiing.

Anyway, I didn't manage to write one of these last week and I have a feeling it may be something that occurs every other week. But I'm numbering them throughout the year and I guess it gives me more to talk about!

Okay, so I have officially fallen in love with NANDOS! I hadn't bothered going before because I don't like spicy food but the plain chicken wrap with the special mayo is to die for! The first picture is when I went out with my lovely friend Hannah for lunch the other day, although Mark has treated me twice too!

Do you like my nails? Firstly, I've been using the set of 200 nails from boots that I purchased recently and they are surprisingly pretty good! The nail colour is Leighton Denny, Babydoll which I bought in a blogsale for only £2.50! (RRP £11.00)

My lovely friend Hannah on twitter wrote this quote to me when I was having a bad day last week, it pretty much summed up the day and kept me motivated all week, lovely isn't it? You can follow her here! (If you like reading, you should check out her blog all about book reviews! here)

The biggest change in my week (or life!) was joining SLIMMING WORLD! YAY! After writing this, I'm going to film an 'update' video and chat all about it (because there is a LOT to say!) But summary is, I want to get fitter, healthier and loose two stone before the summer.

Guess what I booked this week? Obvious enough? DISNEYLAND PARIS! *jumps around screaming like a small child in the adverts*
If you read my last sunday summary, I talked about wanting to go for a quick break after my eighteenth birthday. After scrolling through pages and pages on the web to try and find a deal, Disney suddenly popped up with a flash sale of 50% off!
In summary, we're going on Friday 30th March until Sunday 1st April (2 nights, 3 days) and are staying in Disney's Hotel Cheyenne.
We managed to book hotel, tickets, half board food and Eurostar for only £400 each!
I'll be vlogging whilst I'm there!

Enough of Disneyland (you'll be hearing about that until the day I go), other things that have happened this week -
  • I handed in my Photography project after 5 months of working on it and was given my exam piece (eeekk) still need to order the photobook though!
  • I went swimming for half an hour and plan on keeping it up every week possibly even twice a week!
  • I sold two Juicy Couture tshirts on Ebay and bagged myself £25.00! not bad eh?
  • I attended a 'not going to uni' talk at College, wrote down my details and at the end, they did a price draw. Guess who won a £15 Itunes Voucher!? Lucky me :)
  • My lovely friends Somer and Courtney (Reflections) recently entered the Sky 1 show 'Got To Dance' and are semi-finalists! Their audition piece was a beautiful contemporary dance showing almost perfect  symmetry in their timing and obviously because they are twins! You can watch their audition here

I thought I would summarise other things I've been loving this week in groups.

Favourite's this week:

Song: Turn All The Lights On - T.Pain
Food: Activia Cherry Yoghurts (no Syns in Slimming World 'World') & SW Hi-Fi Lemon Bars
Clothing: My Fur Stole (Haul coming up!)
Shoes: Boots
Purchase: My Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki Brush! (again, haul coming soon) & Disney tickets
Beauty Product: Garnier Day Moisturiser for Dry Skin
Film: Chalet Girl
TV Show: New Girl and 90210
Apps: Pic Stitch, Disneyland, Sims FreePlay, Temple Run, NatWest
YouTuber/Channel: Sprinkleofglitter/slimmingworld

That's it from me this week, sorry it was a long one but I hope you enjoyed the read. Have a good week, enjoy the snow if you have it and I'll update you in a video I'm going to film today :) Off for breakfast now, see ya!
