Review: Tangle Teezer

After hearing so many good reviews, I recently decided to purchase a pink tangle teezer, and after a few uses I am already loving it.

Essentially, £10.20 for a pink, plastic brush with 'teeth' seems expensive, right? I don't think I've even spent that much on my TRESemmé hair brush. But when you've got damaged, notty, curly hair like mine, you'll do anything to make it easier.

After reading and hearing so many good things about it, I finally decided to get one. I went to Boots 3 times and each time they had sold out (how annoying!). So when I rushed in there before starting work last week, I was so pleased to see a pink one sitting on the shelf. After being out in the pouring rain it was the perfect time to give it a quick test and of course, it worked wonders.

Will it generally improve my hair?
Apparently so! I haven't used it enough to give my own personal opinion as I feel it is something that will work over time. Essentially, it aims to give you thicker, healthier, shinier hair. According to the website, all those years tugging and tearing tangles from your hair with incorrect brushes or combs has caused irreversible cuticle damage (oh dear). So the brush claims to help this and even improve shine!
But what if I have extensions?
No problem! The tangle teezer will work through from the roots without pulling them out! It won't leave them looking fake, frustrated and knotted and will give you the confidence to brush freely anytime you like, yipee!
What hair type is it best for?
Any! Even thin, straight hair or naturally afro-curly hair!
Can you use it with wet or dry hair?
Both! Although it is more ideal to use after conditioning in the shower.
How do I use it?
2 ways: brush strokes from the underneath of the hair with the teeth pointing upwards or brush from the top of the hair pointing the teeth downwards.  For those with long hair, you could turn your head upside down and start detangling from the nape of your neck down to the roots.

How much is it? And where can I buy it?
They come in all different shapes, styles and colours now - even handy compact ones for travelling! But the one I own can be purchases from several places:

Boots - £10.20 in store or online here
ASOS - £10.00 online here
Amazon - £9.24 online here + further review

Overall I am loving it and would definitely recommend to all my friends and family for any hair type. Let me know what you guys think and do you already own one?
