My Christmas Wishlist! ❄

I don't really make 'lists' as such anymore but every girl can dream! I haven't actually asked my mum for any of these things (yet!) because she's taking us away skiing (DUTY FREE). She's already bought me lots of surprises and bits we've picked up recently so these are things I want to buy myself, hopefully with some christmas money too.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua
Need to repurchase this, I miss it. A lot. Its £31 but I can get it for £27 at the airport in two weeks so might purchase it then.

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Purfume
Again, going to buy this at Gatwick to get it duty free. I've worn this purfume for years now, absoutely gorgeous and I never try anything else because I love it so much!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
I love my No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser but I think its time I try the Liz Earle which has SO much hype.

ASOS Swing Dress
A few days ago, I saw that the lovely Holly celebrated her 20th birthday and wore this dress. I instantly fell in love and want it as my 'christmas dress'.

iPhone 4S White
Okay, I haven't actually asked for this but my contract is running out really soon and I need to change phones. My whole family have iPhones and I think its time I get one too, especially for blogging and vlogging! I was going to invest in a new digital camera but I might as well just use the camera on the phone as its pretty god dam good.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm
I LOVE Burt's Bees. It's saved my life and I'm nearing the end of my current one. When I found out they released a 'tinted' range, I really wanted to try one! Maybe Santa can pop it in my stocking.

Yankee Christmas Candles
Ah, how many times I hear and see these candles. I have never tried or smelt them but would absoutely love too. Tanya from Pixi2woo on YouTube said they are divine!

So there we have it, a few bits and bobs I have on my mind at the moment. I'm lucky enough to be going away skiing so not expecting lots of pressies. Therefore, I will try my best to buy these with my own money, christmas money and maybe the boyfriend can 'accidentally' see this post on his laptop...

Collection 2000 Cream Puff Lip Cream - £2.99 - Tesco

Hey girlies!
I'm sorry if the pictures are similar to my November Favourites post, I thought it would be the easiest way to show you my new beauty bits and pieces.

The beginning of the month is lethal. I get paid and BOOM its gone in days on stuff like this. I try to tell myself 'you need that' or 'your repurchasing it' or 'its not that expensive, right?'

Anyway, as you can see, a bit of a mix. I repurchased my favourite shampoo and conditioner at the moment. It leaves my hair super smooth and has helped get rid of the damage.

If you watched/read my November Favourites, I mentioned the Visibly Clear 2-in-1 wash and mask which I have fallen in love with. I was in the market for a new moisturiser and decided to go with the same line by Neutrogena. Great value for money, love the packaging and product.

Picked up a small packet of the simple make up wipes. I don't use these on a day-by-day basis, but thought they would be handy to take away skiing with me this month! Travel series will be coming up on my channel so keep your eyes pealed for that.

TRESemme has recently become a favourite brand of mine for my other hair essentials. I repurchased the dry shampoo (its the best!) and as you can see, went for the bigger one this time. I'm also trying out the finishing spray which actually doubles up as a heat defense before drying, so will let you know how that goes.

The eyelashes I have chosen to wear on Christmas Day are by the fairly new make up line Tesco have released called VIVO. For only £2, I thought I couldn't go wrong. I love the design/shape/length of these ones too.

MUA Clear Mascara - something I've been wanting to pick up for ages now for my eyebrows. I wanted to order the ELF Brown and Tame thing but this works just the same to keep the hairs in place.

My new liquid liner is by L'Oreal, the carbon gloss super liner! After hearing so many good things about this, I finally picked it up and LOVE IT.

The last thing I threw in my basket at Tesco the other day was the Collection 2000 cream puff lip cream. I absolutely love the texture and colour of this. It reminds me of the saying 'your lips but better'.

Hope you liked this little haul, I must say I definitely do NOT want to count up how much that cost me out of my pay check this week. Still need to buy xmas pressies.. Oops!

My Christmas Column

I don't know if some of you know, but I write a column for my local magazine. I've been doing it for over a year now and if you follow me on twitter, you'll know I was struggling to write my Christmas one! Anyway, my lovely friend Kelly gave me the idea of the Coca Cola advert and I thought the whole column would be nice to share with you (if you like reading and that kinda thing!)

(Couldn't find an image suitable so here's a recent one of me!)

Don’t you find that every year Christmas starts earlier with supermarkets stocking advert calendars and cards as early as September! It made me think ‘what is Christmas really about?’ and how do we differentiate the transition between autumn, winter and the start of the Christmas season.

I guess for some people it’s December 1st, or the first door you open in the advent calendar to the countdown of the big day. For me, it’s when I first see the Coca Cola advert on the TV. Coke bought back its "holidays are coming" ad in 2007, after some people marked it as the beginning of Christmas. In keeping with tradition, the song accompanies the trucks on their journey and Coca Cola’s famous Santa Claus who spreads the holiday message. Did you know that he first appeared in their advertising back in 1931!

For some people, marking the start of Christmas is about buying a tree and placing it in the living room. For others, it’s about visiting Church or donating to Operation Christmas Child via their ‘shoe box appeal’. Or simply, it could just be about spending quality time with loved ones. This year is a little bit different because I sadly lost a Grandparent, so my Christmas will give me the chance to remember loved ones too.

Despite my age, I still hope that a tubby man with a white beard leaves me my Christmas stocking. I won’t be forgetting the mince pie and carrot either!

So wherever you’ll be this holiday season, I hope it is filled with happiness, memories and everyone gets what they wished for. Have a good one!

Sunday Summary: Driving, Fantasy Shopper & Chit Chat

Hiya lovelies! Hope your all well. What a week I have had! Literally, its been good and bad but mostly good.

If you don't watch my YouTube videos than you may not know already that I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST! YIPEE! The test itself went a lot better than the first time when I failed, I was a lot more relaxed and only got 4 minor errors! I took it at 8.10am, but this went in my favour as I sat in a little bit of traffic. I've been non-stop driving this week, absolutely loving the freedom and independence.

Today was a typical sunday, I drove Mark (my boyfriend) to work and came back, threw on some trackies and my Primark flower wellies (aren't they cute?!) then washed my car inside and out for two hours! I was so proud of myself. Pippa was shining white again.

If you saw my post about Fantasy Shopper or follow me on twitter, than you'll know that I'm absolutely obsessed. I think the whole concept of the website is fantastic, giving us virtual money to spend and shop with. The best part about it, is that everything you 'buy' is actually available online and in stores now. So, when I starting lusting over this green cardigan from Dorothy Perkins and pairing it with every outfit, I had to run and get it. With my student discount, I paid £28 for it! I am in love, green in my new winter colour. The cardigan itself is actually quite thin and really easy to wear. It keeps you warm yet you don't over-heat and want to take it off. I'm sorry the pictures don't really show it very well, but trust me, it's lovely.

I also print screened the Community Assistants page because hey, guess who got promoted?! MEEEE! Thank you guys, I honestly wouldn't have done it without you. There are 12 of us to help the community assist with any problems/questions, help people create outfits and sort out items that have been categorized wrong.

Other than that, nothing else really happened this week. I currently work at my local WHSmith store and only have saturday hours 10-4pm. So I contacted the bigger WHSmith in town and I'm now working thursday and friday evenings too! YAY for extra money!

I've been a bit naughty and only went into college two days last week. One day off was because of my test, another was because we had a power cut and the whole college got shut (er thanks!) and friday I just couldn't be bothered! But I'm driving in tomorrow on my own, a little scared actually but I've grown in confidence driving over the last week.

This afternoon, we had our family friends over who are coming skiing with us this christmas. We have found a hotel and flights etc for Italy, a hotel I've actually stayed in before so I'm really excited once that is definitely booked!

I finish college at lunchtime tomorrow, so hopefully will race home and film a video before the light disappears.

Hope your all well and have a lovely week!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation: Before & After!

Hey girls, what a week I've had! I'll rant to you all in a sunday summary tomorrow (if I manage to find a spare moment which I hope I will!)

Anyway, I'm quite proud of myself for finally doing this post and revealing a face with no makeup! As some of you know, I'm using a new foundation, the Bourjois Healthy Mix in shade 52. I use my ELF Powder brush to apply and I am loving it!

I don't want to make this review lengthy because there are plenty out there, but can you guys see the difference it has made? This is WITHOUT concealer and powder! I'm very impressed and feel as confident with it on as I did when I used Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.

What do you guys think? Are any of you using this foundation and do you recommend similar drugstore ones?

Every Blogger Needs...Fantasy Shopper!

I've never been interested games (apart from the Sims!) but when I heard about this website, I thought 'what the heck, lets give it a go'. Basically, if you love shopping, you'll love the site.

Its all about 'virtual' shopping for products that are currently on the market. They give you 'money' and you can create outfits!

I'm absolutely obsessed, literally! As you can see Miss Sophie Chapman is stealing the show - she got me into it and I'll hopefully get you into it! Its not difficult and free to sign up (you just connect your Facebook but it doesn't publish anything on there).

If you want to find out more, watch my video chatting all about it!

Sephora Nail Bling: Gold Leopard (Limited Edition)

My mum's recent trip to New York for her boyfriend's birthday meant I got to request lots of things for her to fetch in Sephora for me. These Nail Art Stickers however were one of the many surprises I received and I finally got round to trying them out! With Halloween coming up, I thought it was the perfect time to get away with them, especially for a night out and a day at college.

This design is absolutely gorgeous, although there are plenty to choose from. They are $7 for 18 stickers in 9 different sizes. I have to admit, they aren't the easiest things to apply though, I had to get my mum to give me a hand! All you need is a small pair of scissors and a nail file and the application isn't too difficult. I also added a top and base coat as recommended.

They feel kind of weird, a bit bumpy and not that smooth round the edges. Other than that, they seem to have lasted well! I would love to try these on my toes, how cute would that look?!
